SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE FOR EARLY CAREER ARTIST

A scholarship is available for an early career artist to study drawing and painting in Greece with Jerrod Partridge during the Visual Explorations of Greece trip September 12-22, 2022. The scholarship will cover the full program cost ($2500 value) for the successful applicant. The program cost is based on double occupancy lodging. Airfare is not included.

CRITERIA

- Applicant must be a Mississippi resident

- Applicant must be between the ages of 18-30

- Applicant must be pursuing or interested in pursuing a career in the arts

- Applicant must have an interest in traditional representational drawing and painting

- Applicant must be available to travel the dates of September 12-22, 2022

- Applicant must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

- a short paragraph about your involvement in the arts, any previous European travel, and how this experience would benefit you . The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges.

- Applications are due by March 15

- Winner will be announced on March 22
